Tårta och Demoner was our last project with TGE which was an inhouse engine made with c++.
”You're a demon slayin' kid and it's your little sister's birthday! Fight your way to the store through a Swedish town, return home and bake that cake!”
Our group size was: 15
My responsibilites were: UI, Engine and Support.
I made the UI with a Statestack.
We revamped my collision system from P3. I also put in shadows for our game. If anything was wrong/needed to be added to either the engine or a tool I was there to do it. This project I did everything to make everyone else shine as brightly as possible.
Support: I worked as the glue and bridge between our programmer and other discipline. If something needed to be done I was the person to talk to and later on either take it upon myself or see if someone else was suited for it. If anyone from the gameplay team needed help I was there to see what could be done and fix it back end if needed.
